| Bio: | I'm left of liberal and don't get the direction the US is headed. I come from a Dutch family and through them have learned to love traveling. I enjoy visiting old historical areas as much as I enjoy going to visit natural areas. Some say that I'm a bit obssessed with my cat, Josie, but I say she's well worth it and talking about her a lot is a great way to get rid of unwanted suitors. I enjoy my job as a fisheries biologist, though with current state budgetary woes things are always shakey. I started out on the East coast and have gradually moved westward through the time zones: I got my undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin, then I went to grad school in Utah, and then moved to California for my job. |
